Synopsis

Synopsis for music video:

We begin with the narrative of the video that revolves around a girl who is having trouble with a broken family. At first we see her getting ready for school, activity that you would expect to see in a routine when preparing to go out.

The singer is also introduced and offers clips of live performance throughout the narrative. While the girl from the video isn't the same as the artist singing the narrative is suppose to represent almost a flashback to the singers own experience. This could be shown through a riff section between the chorus and the verse where I would cross cut between the to characters as a fast pace.

As the video continues we see shots that show the parents arguing with one another, eventually the girl leave where we rejoin her in a forest taking photos, she seems happier. Eventually she returns to the house where she listens to the arguments downstairs. She texts someone who offers to come and get her, eventually the shouting overwhelms her and she react before storming down stairs to confront her parents.

An argument continues between the family members, the parents eventually signifying that she should get out. She walks down the road until eventually is joined by another girl who hugs her. Together they walk through the forest laughing and talking until they reach a clearing and sit together.

a final shot shows the singer before the camera tracks out to show the room around and the singer walks out of the frame. Perhaps i will include a shot where the video cuts to a shot of the forest now empty with just the sound of birds and nearby laughter.
